"When I first met with Beth, I had been struggling with chronic migraines for nearly two years. . . With Beth’s sage guidance and practical toolset, . . . Beth taught me how to get out of my own head and begin listening to my body again, which has been the foundation of my healing journey. . . She has been integral in reducing my chronic pain days from >25 to <5 per month."

"Beth is very well trained and gifted in helping a person get in touch with their body. I suffer from chronic pain and it is related to childhood trauma. We were able to design a plan for me to address my pain in a new way, greatly reduce my anxiety, and begin healing the effects of my childhood trauma.. Highly recommend!"

Although all yoga is potentially therapeutic and healing, yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools - postures/exercises, breathwork, meditation techniques and more -- to address an individual's physical, mental and emotional needs. It is a biopsychosocial/spiritual methodology resulting in increased flexibility and strength, changed neurological processing, and nervous system regulation for improved wellness.
A common misconception is that the discipline is all about stretching or movement. In fact, yoga therapy can also help people with limited movement, or who can't move at all.
Yoga therapy can eliminate, reduce, or manage symptoms, improve function, help prevent injury or illness, and improve overall health and well-being. We work with various types of pain, neurological issues, mental health issues, major illnesses, healthy aging, and death and dying just to name a few.
Yoga therapy is a safe way of working with the natural capacity of your body and mind to optimize well-being.
