"My gift first showed up in teaching Yoga Nidra and progressive relaxation types of meditation. A student raved about how much my gentle yoga class had helped her specific issues, and I felt such a sense of fulfillment. I knew then that I had found my purpose work.

I have always been fascinated by medicine and voraciously read and research. Yoga therapy is a way to combine my love of yoga and belief in its healing properties and my love of medical research."

Beth holds certifications in Hatha, Chair Yoga, Senior Yoga, Restorative, and trauma-informed teaching. As a complement to her yoga therapy practice, Beth has also studied Feldenkrais, meditation and mindfulness, Buddhism, somatic and nervous system therapies, and trauma healing and resilience.

As a yoga teacher, Beth facilitates a mindful, Hatha, breath-based practice using a therapeutic approach and incorporating the full breadth of yoga, from philosophy to meditation. Focusing on creating strength, flexibility, and building balance, Beth’s general classes are gentle enough for beginners, yet challenging for those looking for more.
